IAY – Kutcha Houses

Construction of Pucca Houses with latrine and Chullah, replacing thatched roof SC 85% and OC15% unit cost Rs.10,000/-

Village Panchayats selected at District level. Beneficiaries selected through panchayat grama Sabha. Allocation of Group houses based on SC/ST population of the Block. Work order issued to the women beneficiearis for the construction.

Member of Pariliament Local Area Development Programme

Each MP (Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha) are empowered to select works annually for Rs.200 lakhs. The Distrct Collector. Where the MP Head Quarters occurs will receive fund from GOI. (for Viluppuram Distrct / MP Tindivanam)

Administrative sanction will be accorded by the District Collector to the Implement agencies like BDO, EO(Town Pt.) Municipal Commissioner EE, PWD etc., based on the category of work and jurisdiction. The work will be executed only through open tenders.

5.

Biogas Programme

This programme envisage construction of Biogas plants by using cow dung. Families with more animals will be selected.

Types of Model

1. Dheenabandu Model (Storage Tank Below ground level)

2. KIVC – Drum Model

3. KVIC- Dome Model

size varies from 2 cum to 15 cum based on family size and Animals Beneficiaries can construct the plan with own fund or through bank loan Eligible subsidy Rs.2300/- per plant.

         4.  Chulla Scheme -  beneficiaries has to contibute Rs. 130/- and Govt. Subsidy Rs. 100/-

The BDO(VP) will select the beneficiary and forward loan application to the banks. Well trained self Employed workers or Turnkey agent is involved in construction.

Swarna Jayanthi Gram Swarojgar Yojana. (SGSY)

The scheme envisage to provide economic assistance to the women families below poverty line for their economic and social upliftment. There is 4 Components under the scheme.

1. Revolving 10% fund

Those Self Help Groups formed after completion of 6 months will be graded based on certain criteria Rs.10,000 will be released to the Banks concerned as Revolving fund and Rs.15,000 will be paid in addition to RF (Total Rs.25,000) by the bankers to the Self Help Groups. This amount will be revolved among the members. Monthly remittance of members loan amount to the Bank.

2. Training 10%

This component provides orientation Training, Skill building Training and exposure tour to the Self Help Groups. Training for panchayat presidents. Block Staff and Bankers can also be provided.

3. Infrastructre 20%

This component provides construction of Village Bazaar shopping complex, working cum production center buildings and other capital infrastructure facilities required for the self help groups.

4.Subsidy for 60% Economic Assitance

After completion of 6 months time from sanction of RF, one more grading will be conducted for the SHGs. The SHGs will select trades for their future with marketing facilities. The Banker will sanction loan to the SHGs DRDA will provide Rs.1.25 lakhs maximum subsidy. Unit cost may vary. The bank loan will be provided based on unit cost of the trade.

The aim is to uplift each SHG members to get family in come of Rs.2000/ permonth within a period of 3 years.

Sampoorna Gramin Rozgar Yojana (Stream-I)

Primary objective of the Programme is to give employment to Rural People below poverty line. The Secondary objective is to create durable assets in the village under this programme a portion of the wage is paid by means of rice. Out of daily wage of Rs.54/- Rs.25.75 is given as cash and 5kg of rice to the value of Rs.28.25

The Village panchayat will selct the work based on fund allocation and get the approval of the panchayat council and execute the works.

Sampoorna Gramin Rozgar Yojana (Stream-II)

Primary objective of the Programme is to give employment to Rural People below poverty line. The Secondary objective is to create durable assets in the village under this programme a portion of the wage is paid by means of rice. Out of daily wage of Rs.54/- Rs.25.75 is given as cash and 5kg of rice to the value of Rs.28.25. 40% of the fund is earmarked for Distrct panchayat and 60% to block panchayat.

District Panchayat council and Panchayat union council will selct the works and get the approval of the aspective councils. The works will be executed by the BDO through group of unemployed formed in the village for the purpose.

9.

SGRY – SPecial Component Scheme

Under SGRY there if a special component for augmenting foods security through additional wage employment in the flood affected or calamity affected rural areas. Accordingly food grains are allotted for giving employment to the people living in the calamity areas.

The works are selected by the respective councils of District Panchayat, Block Panchayat and Village Panchayat and execute the works.

10.

VAO Office

Proposed to construct office building for Village Administration Officers in every villages, so as to enable the village people to easily approach the VAO to redress their problems without any delay.

The works will be selected by the BDO(BP) and executed through open tender.

IWSC

For every village panchayat one integrated Women Sanitary Complex is constructed at an estimate cost of Rs.2.25 lakhs. With in 2 years all the 1104 panchayat will be covered. For every complex water facility, electricity facility, washing facility etc. one provided, Maintained by women Self Help Help Group.

The works will be selected by the Block Dev. Officer (BP) and executed through open Thender.

3

Self Sufficiency Scheme

Implemented with people participation 75% Govt. Grant and 25% public contribution. All kinds of works may be takeup.

Proposals to be received through the BDOs., Collector, will accord A.S. for the works. May be executed through the organization contributing 25% share.
